Although this euphorbia is not very common, it can be accessed by ordinary Dghweɗe. The literal meaning of lusa nde is "dark eye" (lusa=dark or black; nde=eye). If someone has a very big plot of land to plant guinea corn, tiger nuts or ground nuts, people will look at it in envy and as a result the land turns bad (meaning losing its fertility).
